FOOD CONSUMPTION BEHAVIOUR: A CASE STUDY AMONG FARMERS IN RURAL AREA KEDAH, MALAYSIA

Food consumption is one of the most important components in ensuring household food security. However, there are practices and beliefs that some foods detrimental to health among low-income people, which affects household. The goal this research look into eating habits farmers countryside Kedah State, Malaysian. Agricultural including districts Kubang Pasu, Baling, Delay or prevent, Alor Setar, Kuala Muda, focus research. Utilizing stratified random sampling, 225 rice growers from rural areas chosen were chosen. SPSS 25 findings intake analysis, information was analyzed. results study revealed low with a value less than 29.9. Almost total for each category except beverages have high above 80. also found group believes an impact on health. suggests government should sensitize population particular eat balanced foods. At same time, restructuring primary school curriculum syllabus needs be holistic so awareness nutrition can raised early childhood education.
